My first TVR was a Starmist Green Chimaera 450 which I bought second hand from HR Owen, Canary Wharf, London (no longer a TVR dealer). I had never owned a car that attracted so much attention before and I can still hear the sound of the Rover V8....

My second TVR (my last through HR Owen) was a 2001 Starmist Chianti Tuscan 4.0. This was my first new TVR and I absolutely adored it! Everyone who saw it, even passers by, would stare, point, smile, and many would come up to as about it. Never before have I had a car where complete strangers would come up and chat as if they we're long lost friends!

This was also my first time visiting the TVR factory in Blackpool where I was able to see my Tuscan in build as well as a full factory tour. This has been the most enjoyable car I've ever owned and I miss it every day. It was sold in 2003 to help fund the purchase of a house - two years later (driving a smart Passion Cabriolet of all things!) and I've ordered a Tamora Red Rose which is currently being built.
